If stress is a feature in your life, then Tadhg [pronounced like the first syllable of “tig-er”!] O’Shea BSc(Hons), BA(Hons), LLM, FNICE is your secret weapon.
He is Director of Stress Research at the Research Institute for Clinical Ergology — the charitable institute that studies stress at work and at home and produces new ways to cure the condition and minimise its future occurrence.
It has long been known that stress adversely affects dental, musculo-skeletal, gastro-intestinal and psycho-sexual health; it can lead to a lack of sleep and an ever-increasing spiral of anxiety. Tadhg believes that Oralon is at the cutting edge in pioneering new ways in which multiple symptoms of stress can be addressed in one programme — the best way to remove excess stress from your life.
Stressed people often show a marked reluctance to see a dentist — being fearful of clinics and embarrassed about one’s oral health is very common. Tadhg believes that the team at Oralon understands the difficulties for stressed people as well as any dental surgery in the country.
You can ask to see Tadhg at any time during your programme of care with Oralon – many people see him before they see any other clinician. For further advice please email tadhg@oralon.co.uk.
